We offer a diverse selection of courses aimed towards actors and aspiring actors. The courses are all presented by Leo Sjöman. Sjöman is an actor, producer and entrepreneur who has years worth of experience in acting.

 

SELF TAPE WORKSHOP

Towards bolder and more relaxed acting.

During the Hoka Films Self Tape Workshop you practice different self tape techniques with a professional actor. The workshop is held by Leo Sjöman.

The workshop tackles the most common technical difficulties you might face while making your self tapes, so that you’ll have the freedom to fully concentrate on the creative part. You’ll get practical tools to guide you towards more daring acting and scene-building.

Workshop structure:

  • Online -meeting (30 min) – structure breakdown and pre-assignment

  • Self tape pre-assignment (the actor prepares their self tape for the live session)

  • Live session – camera work & personal coaching (2,5h)

  • Wrap up & feedback (30 min)

  • The filmed material is sent out at the end of the workshop

If you want to become braver in your expression while making self tapes, this is the workshop for you! You are welcome to join even if this is your first time making a self tape, and you want to gather experience of working in front of the camera.
